Everett C. Yoho (1928-2007)

In loving memory of Everett C. Yoho, 79, who passed on to his Heavenly home on September 27, 2007 after a long illness.

Everett was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Army Air Force and was discharged honorably in 1946. He later worked at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. retiring in 1989 after 45 years of service. Everett was a faithful member of Tallmadge Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary; and son, Everett C. Yoho, Jr. Left to mourn his absence are his loving wife and best friend, Iva; daughters, Sheila Eisman of Akron, Debi Freeman of Arizona, Cathy (Butch) Talley of Tennessee and Nancy (Russ) Hensly of South Carolina; three step-sons, whom he loved as his very own, Ronald (Nancie) Graham of Akron, Randy (Margie) Graham of Boise, Idaho and Rodney (Becky) Graham of Akron; 11 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with three more expected; 11 step-great-grandchildren; a loving sister, Doris Dillard of Akron; many loving family and friends.

Cremation has taken place at his request and there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be in Clarington, Ohio on Saturday, October 6 at 2 p.m. with Preacher Keith Storment officiating. Lawrence "Larry" Yoho (1959-2007)

YOHO, Lawrence “Larry” Spencer, 48, of Blake’s Ridge, Moundsville, W.Va., died Monday, September 24, 2007, at home.

He was born September 10, 1959 in Glen Dale, W.Va., the son of John Warner Yoho of Moundsville and the late Martha Phillips Yoho. He was a self-employed masonry.

In addition to his father, survivors include two sons, Jason Yoho of Wheeling and Mason Yoho of Moundsville; a brother, John W. Yoho, Jr. of Moundsville and his girlfriend, Julie Crow.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Paul Smith officiating.


Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.

Glenn M. Yoho (1927-2007)


Yoho, Glenn M.Yoho, age 79 of Sistersville, WV, formerly of Paden City, died
Wednesday-January 24, 2007 in Sistersville General Hospital.

Glenn was born December 15, 1927 in New Martinsville, WV, the son of the
late Ester Jacob and Lou Velma O'Neil Yoho.

He was a retired employee of Riechart's Furniture; forty year member of
Proctor Christian Church where he served as deacon, elder and Sunday school
teacher; member of several bands where he played the Rhythm guitar, and was
nominated to the WV Music Hall Of Fame.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by this first wife,
Charlotte Ann Barkes Yoho; brother, Olen McKimmie.

Surviving are his wife, Martha Wells Yoho; son, Kevin Yoho and his wife,
Anita of Paden City; daughter, Colleen Howard of Paden City; four
grandchildren; Courtney Howard, Kevin Yoho, Sondra Yoho and Samantha
Howard; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Damien, Destiny and Ashton;
several nieces and nephews.


Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday-January 26, 2007 at the
Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City where funeral services will be held 1
p.m.-Saturday-January 27, 2007 with Anthony Parks officiating.


Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville, WV.

Dr. David E. Yoho (1920-2007)

YOHO, Dr. David E., 86, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Glen Dale, W.Va., died January 22, 2007.

He was born March 1, 1920 in Moundsville, W.Va., son of the late Floyd R. and Rose Shepard Yoho.

He was a retired Physician at Reynolds Memorial Hospital; a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Riviera Beach, Fla.; and a WWII Navy Veteran.

Dr. Yoho graduated from Potomac State School at Keyser, W.Va., continuing his education, he graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Pre-Medicine, received the Bachelor of Science in Medicine at West Virginia. He continued his education in the study of medicine and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, climaxing his study of medicine with a specialty in anesthesiology from Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Yoho Eismon.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jayne Neighborgall Yoho of West Palm Beach; his son, David E. (Susan) Yoho, Jr. of Moundsville; his sister, Janice L. (Joseph) Gallaher of Gaithersburg, Md.; four grandchildren, Richard L. (Monica) Yoho of Columbus, Ohio, Randall S. Yoho of Charleston, W.Va., Ann E. (Robert) O’Boyle of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Patrick G. Eismon of Maui, Hawaii; and eight great- grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2007, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Terry Adams as celebrant.

The family memorial gathering will be held at a later date in West Palm Beach, at the convenience of his beloved wife and partner of 65 years.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Yoho’s name to Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

Donald R Yoho (1921 - 2005)

Donald R. Yoho, 84, died at home april 4, 2005. He was a native of Beaver Falls, Pa., and New Brighton, Pa., and had resided in Hillsborough County since 1947.

Don Served his country during World War II in Italy, was an employee of the School District of hillsborough County for 38 years, and was a past member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Plant city.Since reitirement from his position of dirctor of Program Development with Supportive Services in 1985. He worked as a life underwriter and was currently self employed as a retirement planning agent.

Upon graduation from The Pennsylvania State University, Don entered the U.S. army as a private and was deployed to Italy as a lieutenant during World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star, an as an Infantry Captain received an honorable discharge in 1946. Don went on to receive a master's degree from Penn State and a Rank I certificate rom the University of Florida.

Beginning as a social studies teacher at Tomlin Junior High School and assistant coach at Plant city High School in 1947, he then served as principal of Jackson Elementary School, Tomlin Junior High School, Plant City High School, Mann Junior High School, Chamberlain High School and Franklin Junior High School.. During this period, he was active in the Hillsborough Association of School Administrators, the Plant City lions Club (president, 1957-58), the Brandon Rotary Club (president 1964-65), the North Hillsborough Rotary Club and the Gulf Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the Penn State Alumni Chapter of Greater Tampa, the Florida Retired Teachers Association, and the Plant City Historical Society.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Inez Goette Yoho of Plant City; his daughter, Susan Lipford of Plant City; her son, Jermy Lipford; her daughter and son-in-law, Stephenie and Bob Hill of Louisville, Ky; a son Monty Yoho of Branson, Mo.; and a son, Col (Dr.) Donald R. Yoho Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, his wife, Laurie, and son, Henry.

Lt. Col. Arnold Jacob Yoho (Retired)


Arnold Jacob Yoho passed away on January 16, 2005 in Long Beach CA. He was born May 16, 1916 in Crawford County, IL, the son of Earl and Bessie Porter Yoho. He is survived by his two sons, Steve and Earl, and his daughter Lindsay, as well as his sister, Sarah Yoho Jones. Stepsister Millie Tohill Wuhrman also survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jean, a daughter, Sandra Kay, two brothers, Donald and Ray, and two sisters, Neoma Yoho Miller, and Erma Yoho Weger. Memorial services were held Jan. 21 at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Long Beach.

Neoma (Yoho) Miller
1918 - 2004

Neoma (Yoho) Miller 86 died on December 11, 2004 in Long Beach California.. She was the daughter of Earl Jacob Yoho and Bessie Bell Porter Yoho. Her husband, George Miller preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter Leslie Miller and 2 grandchildren, Kelly Miller and Jacob Miller. Her brother Arnold Yoho and sister Sarah Yoho Jones also Survive, as well as stepsister Millie Tohill Wuhrman.

Helen E. (Silver) Yoho
1913 - 2004

Helen Elizabeth Yoho 90 of 6th Street Moundsville, WV passed away Tuesday, Jan 20, 2004 in Bishop Joseph Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling WV.

She was born April 3, 1913 in Davis WV, the daughter of the late John and Kathryn "Kate" Silver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Yoho, a daughter, Mary K. Yoho, two brothers, Enoch and John Silver and three sisters, Mary Silver, Cecilia Weiker and Genevieve Wishtart.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Ray of Moundsville; two sons, Phillip Yoho of Pittsburgh, and Tim P. Yoho of Lock Haven, PA.; two sisters, Veronica Pollock of Moundsville and Julia Miller of Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
